One of a set of four landscapes featuring the scenery of Provence, France and showing the lavender fields and distant mountains.
The landscape is painted from some of my photos taken on a trip to the lavender fields last year and is a compilation from server photos. I wanted a loose lively feel to these small landscapes to show the brilliant colours before the mid-day sun bleaches all the colours away.
